Kastamonu, a leading international company in the timber industry, required a 16-tonne forklift (with a 600 mm load center) capable of handling extremely demanding work cycles, operating almost continuously for 15-20 hours per day.
Our proposed solution is based on the use of two 120V 1720Ah batteries each, supported by an advanced liquid cooling system for both the traction motor and the inverters. This configuration enables extraordinary levels of operational uptime.
Thanks to energy-saving optimization during any period of inactivity, the machine guarantees between 19 and 21 hours of effective operation with just a single battery change. Furthermore, operational continuity is ensured by a quick-change device, which allows the battery to be replaced in only 6-8 minutes using a second forklift.
