Energy savings on total ownership costs:
We hypothesize two 7 tones forklifts – one diesel and one Raniero AC Electric-, which should work 8 hours per day per 220 days per year.
The diesel forklift, which consumes 8 litres per hour, consumes 83 euro per day calculated at a cost of 1.30 Euros per litre.
An AC 70-6 96V electric with a 96V 1860Ah battery can give more than 9 hours of battery autonomy.
Calculating a cost of electricity of 0.14 Euros per kw/h, the daily cost will be only 24 Euros per day, with a difference of almost 60 Euros.
Annual energy savings will be over 12,000 Euros and in five years will be over 60,000 Euros.
